Time for Class Empty Time for Class

Post by Vashy Tue Sep 11, 2012 11:21 pm

It was finally time for Vashy to start going to classes. She had everything she needed technically, she had a book, a pen, and the classroom numbers she had for the day. She didn't really understand her timetable that well. Some acronyms didn't make alot of sense to her. She was dressed as plainly as she could be. She was hoping the day went by quick so she could go back home. She looked at her timetable... Classroom 12... here goes nothing. She stepped over the threshold. Apparently early as the teacher had not shown up yet. Vashy took a deep breath, walking to an empty seat as close to the back corner as she could get. Now she just had to wait for the other students.. and teachers... she wished she hadn't told Togi she could go by herself now.

Time for Class Empty Re: Time for Class

Post by Azamuki 2.0 Wed Sep 12, 2012 12:17 am

In no more than twenty-five minutes, class would begin. Karasu was apt to get a headstart so he could properly plan and organize for the course he was taking. This was an elective, and students from all years shared the same classroom. When he arrived, he wasn’t expecting a new student to be sitting anxiously behind her desk. Karasu had his backpack against his back, and held his binder for this class against his hip. He walked coolly toward the girl, and sat behind a desk ahead of her own, along the row next to hers. This was where he normally sat down. After having laid his backpack underneath the bracket attached to the bottom of his desk’s chair, he unfastened his binder, and flipped to the journal he wrote all his notes in for this class, he laid his pencil next to his journal, and clasped his hands into one another, holding them right under his chin. “…I see you prefer pens; the pencil is my favored writing utensil, it allows me to erase and rewrite potential mistakes.” He spoke evenly with an eerie undertone, he didn’t even look at the girl while he spoke.

Time for Class Empty Re: Time for Class

Post by Vashy Wed Sep 12, 2012 1:21 am

Vashy noticed a boy walk into class, he seemed confident. He had probably been in this class awhile. Vashy hadn't put alot of thought into how this would actually go. She thought it wouldn't matter much. As long as she got the work done. She hadn't inspected the desks, they looked like normal tables.. just smaller. Apparently not, they had a secret compartment. Well as far as she could tell anyway. She tried not to watch the boy. Untill he spoke, he hadn't even faced her. She wondered if he was talking to himself. No one else was around yet. She didn't really get what his point was. She only took what she thought she would need.. she hadn't really put alot of thought into today. it was going to be a long day. "I guess"

The girl expressionlessly replied with ‘I guess’, there was definitely something ‘off’ with the girl, it was almost as if this was her first time in school after many years, yet she looked fairly undeveloped; indisputably a first-year student. “You are new, yes?” He attempted to commune with the girl, perhaps acquaint himself. Though he seldom spoke with his classmates, the harmony and silence stirred some level of socialization within him. He felt a little more open to speak with the girl, since the two were alone. “I am third-year student, Muto, Karasu.” The Muto name carried much weight all over the world, and was concentrated in Japan. If one were to do some digging, they’d discover that the Muto family founded and funded Darks University, but this schoolgirl didn’t seem the type to know any more than she needed to.

Time for Class Empty Re: Time for Class

The boy could say she was new, on a very technical level. "kind of... this is my first day in actual classes", she was alittle nervous about this. More then just alittle really, she fiddled with the ring on her finger. It would stop her from dissapearing at random. She took it from the nurse office befor leaving. She really wasn't sure what today would be like. She didn't want to end up across campus suddenly. That was for sure. "I'm Vashy T.. ah, Banashi', she stopped herself befor stateing her actual last name. Togi had changed it to Banashi after getting custody.

The girl was having trouble sharing her own name. Evidently, she rarely, if ever spoke with people. Karasu thought on it for a moment, he always did. He favored thinking on things first before merely seeing their memories himself. Sometimes he abstained from doing so, he had no right reading everyone like a book, but he had the power to do so with but a look. He decided not to. “…So you are related to Nurse Banashi, in the Infirmary.” He adjusted his spectacles; he still didn’t look at the girl. Why wasn’t she filed-in? Karasu assisted in preserving and overseeing the records of each and every faculty member and student in order to aid the Headmaster’s furtive agenda, yet he never saw this girl’s. It was almost as if someone had been protecting this girl until now.

The boy still hadn't looked at her, and yet was carrying the conversation on. It was alittle strange.. maybe he was blind.. wait. He said he liked pencils better... she doubted he was if he could write. He wouldn't be like Mana. "Kind of", she wasn't really related. "She adopted me." Thinking of the woman always lifted her spirits, she smiled as she spoke. Sitting alittle straighter. She was suddenly alot more confident. If only it'd last longer then afew sentences.

Vashy was adopted. Karasu assumed so to begin with, since she didn’t resemble the school nurse much, if at all. “…It brings joy to your heart whenever you mention your mother, doesn’t it?” Whenever he thought of his own mother, it only saddened him. On many occasions his superhuman ability was more a curse than a gift. He looked at the round clock hung over the front entrance, only five minutes had passed them by, there still weren’t any students in the classroom, but there was more chatter outside in the hall. The chit-chat of meta-humans trying to live regular, teenage lives; it was a sad thing, trying your hardest to be something you’re not.

Time for Class Empty Re: Time for Class

Post by Vashy Wed Sep 12, 2012 3:19 am

Vashy giggled abit at the strange statment, it was true. It did make her happy. "Yea.. Mama's always nice and good to me.. so she makes me happy", she nodded as if to reassure herself that her statement was sound. She was never really that confident with herself, she either sounded like a idiot half the time or a child.. normally she didn't notice. Though lately she was trying to act older.. it wasn't working out as well as she would hope. The hallway was starting to become littered with sound of chatter. She wasn't sure how early she was to this class. All she knew is she had this one first. "Do you have anything you like to think about that makes you happy?'

The girl spoke as if she were half her age. It didn’t bother Karasu at all, but he found it unusual. There was surely a link to her past that made her the way she is now, and if he really wanted to, he could see her memories. “…I’m afraid not. Happiness is a hard thing to come by for me, with the task bequeathed upon me by my betters.” …Namely his grandparent, the Headmaster. There was a moment’s pause. “…And when I look into someone’s eyes, all I see is tragic loss, isolation, segregation, hatred, confusion and bitter resentment.” Everyone had their sob stories, but the vast majority of the students at Darks had very severely established and sorrowing memories.

The boy spoke... strangely. She wasn't used to someone speaking in the same manor as him. She found his sentences troubling. At least the last one, a life without happiness is a hard one. She didn't like people being upset around her. She wasn't sure what to say to the boy to make things better. Or even continue the conversation. She stayed silent for awhile. Thinking over what could be said. It all seemed so serious.

Vashy hadn’t uttered a sound after Karasu conveyed his point-of-view. “…I don’t expect you to understand. You are right not to pretend as if you do.” He lifted the pencil that had been resting alongside his journal, and began writing his heading for today’s notes, for whatever it may later entail. Class would begin in ten minutes, and a couple of students had arrived early. They were usually present in class at this hour, but the majority of the students came charging in once the bell rung. There was no acknowledgement whatsoever, the two students just unobtrusively sat down, and awaited for the teacher to arrive.

Time for Class Empty Re: Time for Class

Post by Kaiyo Thu Sep 13, 2012 5:31 am

Like a deer in headlights, Kaiyo's eyes were flickering left to right. She didn't even understand the timetable they'd given her. The now very crumpled piece of paper had teetered onto the edge of her last nerve. The scrunched up ball of rage flew into the nearest bin as Kaiyo slung her satchel across her shoulder and sighed. She didn't even know what she was doing here. Everything felt strange, and odd, and unusual. All this tension had kept her awake all night as well, the sodding lightning coursing through her veins made it often hard to rest.

A plain white t-shirt hung loosely around her figure, swaying in step as her bracelets jingled at her wrist. Classroom 12 right? It sounded right and at this point, Kaiyo didn't care. The hallways were clear, and the bell had already rung. Pausing for a moment before the door, Kaiyo entered. Yeah, she was the last one there- at least she'd beaten the teacher though. A sly smile seeped onto her lips, at least she wasn't late for her first day. The girl slung her shoulder bag onto the nearest empty desk, sliding down in her seat as she folded her arms; maybe now she could get some rest.

Time for Class Empty Re: Time for Class

Post by Vashy Thu Sep 13, 2012 6:24 am

The dreaded silence continued, well sort of. Since no teacher had arrived yet, the other students seemed to chatter with one another. Only stopping when a new face popped in. As if making certain it was safe to talk. This was becoming more and more nerve racking, her distraction had stopped talking. Though she might of been a distraction for him aswell. Vashy sighed, swinging her legs just the slightest bit as if that alone would calm her. "I hope you can find more happy things" was all she could really think of to say to the boy.

It wasn't something she wanted to think about. Every now and then her attention went to the door, she looked at students then away. She wasn't certain if she would see the same things the boy did. Some people could never hide their emotions well. Others seemed pretty happy on first inspection. Another part of interaction she hadn't really thought through. Once the blonde girl came through Vashy noticed another hum of quiet. it seemed to be a longer pause. As if expecting another person to come through.

Time for Class Empty Re: Time for Class

Post by Azamuki 2.0 Thu Sep 13, 2012 3:50 pm

The two fell silent, though Vashy may have felt it unjustified not saying anything whatsoever, so she basically told him that she hoped for the best in his future. It was strange, but he was sort of the one who brought on the conversation to begin with. “We’ll see.” He kept it brief, this wasn’t the first time he spoke to a student he ultimately had to ‘swipe’, with any luck it wouldn’t come to that. There was some commotion beyond Room 12’s entrance. …Is it another student’s first day? He thought to himself. The newbies were absolutely oblivious on their first day; they were most commonly freshman who just got to Darks within no more than two to three days.

More and more students came bucketing in; the electrifyingly blonde freshman was among them. She wore a red headband, and had this atypical yet striking look in her azure eyes. She came thundering down on a seat behind a desk on the row next to Vashy, who was in between the row Karasu sat in and the blonde girl sat in. Karasu was back at his usual; he had no intention of intermingling with his other classmates. Class was going to start in no more than five minutes. Where was the professor for this elective?

Time for Class Empty Re: Time for Class

Post by Vashy Fri Sep 14, 2012 8:00 am

Vashy wondered if this was normal for classes. The people coming, going quiet, talking then going quiet again. She sighed, the only other time she went to a class befor. She was late, and ended up helping the teacher with the science experiment. She didn't understand anything then either. bleh. She picked up her pen, fiddling with it nervously, as she stared at the doorway and front of the classroom. This was going to be a very long day.

Students seemed to pick up their mumuring again, some suspecting the teacher was away today. Other seemed to make themselves comfortable, putting their feet on the desks. Someone was bound to show off eventually. Being bored waiting.

Time for Class Empty Re: Time for Class

Post by Young Princess Tomoyoko Thu Sep 27, 2012 8:18 pm

She barrelled into the room opting to take the window seeing if it would surprise anyone. I probably did when she saw some of the students just stare at her. She smiled and took a piece of chalk and writing down Human Relations on the board before siting behind the teachers desk. With her feet up on the desk she swept her eyes over the room looking down at the attendence sheet marking off all the names. "Well, it seems that everyone is here so I say... Welcome! This is Human Relations! As you all know we arent the same as the average citizen. We cant just ignore them however as that would be very suspicious. We have to interact with them as we would each other while still keeping our secrets. We also need to be able to interact with any age which is why this class is mixed. To practice these principles while you are in this classroom no powers are allowed. Furthermore no talk of eachothers power will be tollerated. I wont accept any ifs ands or buts. Now, as a first thing to deal with, we have to discuss how normal human interaction works. There are a few common curtisies that are followed. How many can you as a class figure out. Discuss this amongst yourselves and say any answers you come up with."
