The day was unfolding as it always did. In the morning, he worked as the dean and was constantly tortured by the need of a cigarette. His secretary was still being a hardass and not letting him. If she did, he would go outside three times an hour because he needed one. So he had another couple hours of signing papers and interviewing potential future students. However time dragged on for Riku. As soon as the last interview was over, which riku would turn down since the kid only had the ability of manipulating lactose products (Ooc: Hahaha misfits reference Wink ), he jumped out his window yet again. Only to hear his secretary yelling at him from the window.

With a chuckle he made his way through the school. He looked sharp in the suit he wore as the dean. The black cloth around his eyes his everything he was looking at, as well as his his own strange eye colours. However something told him to make his way towards the gym. So being an instinctual person, he b-lined to the gym where he was greeted by the sight of a girl. He hid a smile and waited to be noticed by her.

She wasn't completely sure why she came down here sometimes. She wasn't a fighter. She was actually a pretty timid person, but it felt good to just cut through things sometimes. She panted a bit. Her heart was pounding. She wrapped her fingers around the pole of her weapon, the head of it pressed against the ground. She looked at the chunks of wooden dummies laid out on the ground. She didn't think her weapon was so sharp.

She was about to set the dummies back up and have another go when somebody else entered the room. She didn't know who he was. He had a cloth around his eyes. He probably couldn't see her. She wasn't sure what to do. She could speak up so he knew she was here, or she could just remain quiet and hope he leaves. She guessed... it'd be polite to just... "Hello..."

Riku watched her for a moment, watching every muscle in her body, feeling each electrical signal pulse through her. He could see that she was a rather calm person. Timid maybe. He almost didn’t realize her saying hello to him. By luck and chance he managed to narrowly avoid looking like a creeper. He stepped forwards and picked the edge of the weapon from the ground and ran the edge between hi thumb and index finger. “Your blade is dull. Do you know how to sharpen it yourself? If not you will have to learn at some point. For now…” His fingers lit up in sparks and the sparks of white lightning spread along the blade edge. The sound of static filled the air. After a few moments it stopper and Riku stepped back. “Give it a try now.”

He touched it. He touched her weapon. He called it dull. She wasn't liking this person. She cringed a bit when something happened to it. It hurt her. She lifted the large blade of the scythe up to the man's throat. This was probably a bad idea... but he upset her. She had a stern look on her face. "Please don't touch it." She was a little protective of it, but it was important to her. It was physically linked to her body. She could feel the electricity surging through it, and it hurt her. This man wasn't very considerate of what her situation could've been, then again, it was pretty specific. She sighed a little and lowered the blade back to the floor. It was sharp enough, anyway...

Riku smiled openly when she lifted the blade to his throat. He considered taking it as either threatening the dean, or threatening one of the most powerful and angry people on campus. However he did do something without asking. The weapon could be the girls seal holding back her power. Or maybe the weapon contained her power. He didn’t know. So he looked her straight in the eyes and spoke calmly “Please forgive me. I was not aware that the weapon was that important to you. However be thankful I do not take it as a threat to myself.” He leaned ever so slightly forward wand a large bolt of lightning arched from his shoulder to his lower arm. “You would not like making me angry.”

The man apologized. She sighed a little bit again. She lowered the weapon and placed the head of it back on the ground. "I'm sorry... it's just a little important to me." She looked to the ground. She wasn't very moved by his power. She supposed it would be bad to make anyone angry, wouldn't it? She twiddled her fingers. She should try to be more polite. She looked up and made eye-contact. She held out one of her hands. "I'm Kasi."

Riku chuckled and politely took her hand. He had to hold back a little because he had a rather firm grip. After a moment he released her hand before speaking. "I am Riku. No doubt you should already know that. However you don't look like a troublemaker so you won't have been to my office.." He said the last her words a little quieter as he thought back to try and remember if she has ever been there. When he decided she hadn't, he looked around the gym at the dummies and wondered if he could do with some target practice as well since he was already here.

Riku... He sounded like he thought he was important. Maybe he was, she had no idea. She just looked into his eyes the best she could before she broke the eye contact in favor of staring at the ground. He had an office. Maybe he did something important at the school. She had no idea. She shuffled her feet a bit. She was a little uncomfortable. She would've liked to continue practicing, but she didn't like other people watching. She chewed her lip a little and waited for him to do something.

(ooc: Please note my eyes are covered by a bandana. I can see find but my eyes are hidden)

He looked down at her, still holding a slight smile. It had seemed she didn't know who he was. It was a surprising but refreshing twist. a hundred things ran through rikus mind as usual, it was how he could stay ahead of the game. However he decided it would be best to not play mind games with this one. She seemed too shy and withdrawn and he thought he would freak her out. So he sighed slightly "I am the school'd dean and music teacher. Riku. Just Riku. I have no last name." He made a slight bow to her in a japanese style.

Huh. She didn't know what a 'dean' was, but if he was a music teacher he must be pretty relaxed. Maybe she could calm down a bit. Maybe not. She really did want to continue her practice. It relaxed her. Made her feel better. She stroked at her hair with one hand. "I see..." She didn't have much to say. This was such a mysterious man. His eyes were covered, she couldn't read his emotions, not like she'd be able to anyway. She wasnt good with people. She waited.

He tried his best to give her a friendly smile. He reached out with his ability and could see her uneasiness. He walked over to the wall and grabbed one of the small metal rods that hung there. They were used by students to help them control and direct their abilities. Riku used them differently. He created a blade made of lightnine, it eas in the shape of a saber. The tip bent slightly up, and lightning sparked from it constantly. The hilt being the small metal rod. He grinned to her and walked over. "May I join your practice? I'm sure we can teach each other things. I have always been intrigued on the fighting style using a scythe." the tip of his lightning blade was mere millimetres from the ground, lightning jumped down from the blade as riku smiled

The man still insisted staying. She bit hard on her lip. "I..." She was nervous. There was lightning shooting out of that little rod he held. If she was hit by it, it would hurt pretty bad. She shook her head slowly. "I... I..." Why was this happening again? She was so scared. She wasn't usually this way. There was just something eerie about him. She didn't like it. She could feel her heart beating. She shut her eyes. It would be okay. He wasn't dangerous... right?

Riku sighed out loud and shot her a mean look. He was being as friendly as he could and she still feared him. It was beginning to anger him. After a moment he growled and raised this blade of lightning up to her. The tip of the blade mere inches from her throat. Close enough so that she would be able to feel the electricity of the blade, but far enough so that the lightning couldn't zap her just yet. "You are afraid of one who is being friendly towards you. I would not have hurt you. But seeing as your so insistent of training alone, I will challenge you to a spar. If you best me, then I will leave you to train alone. If not, I will give you whatever you desire." His voice turned stone cold and his entire body seemed to begin to glow with his eerie black lightning. His skin turned a shade darker, and his white hair began to show black streaks. He hid a grin, and hoped she would attack him for his threat.

The weapon was closer to her. She was scared. She couldn't see it. She felt it. She was trembling. She took some deeper breaths. She relaxed a bit. She gripped her weapon tight. She opened her eyes. They were red now. She swiped her weapon through the bright, crackling blade. Her weapon absorbed most of the weapon. It changed from it's normal form to the darker, more demonic form with extensions. She was upset. "I... I don't like being spoken to like that. Put the weapon down and it'll be okay..." She wasn't completely confident. She hadn't changed. Not yet. She hoped she didn't have to go that far...

Riku's form grew ever darker as his more corrupt side took over. he threw the steel rod aside. He could finally be a little more serious. His arms began to give off massive electric discharges, quickly covering both arms. He would take it easy on her. Even in a state of madness he would make sure he made no fatal blows. "Foolish child. You know nothing for your betters. You are just a pathetic little freak child. Your powers are pathetic. Your weapon is garbage. I will teach you respect!" His voice was deep and crazed. He got this way many times in his youth and stayed away from fights because of it. However now, he let himself go. With a rather sadistic laugh, he jumped faster then any normal human could, or even follow, and made a slashing type move with his arm. A wave of lightning flew forward at an incredible speed. And he did it two more times in quick succession. The tre waves moving for a weak but painful attack towards different points of her body

The man jumped at her. He looked awful... demonic even. He was about to hit her. She aimed the head of her weapon towards him. It would keep the bolts of energy off her, and the boy wouldn't be able to push it. You can't exactly move past and immovable object. She was scared. "I don't want a fight. I don't understand how a fight will teach respect. I don't understand how I disrespected you. You're crazy..." She was scared. Nothing made sense to her. The man shouldn't know what she could do yet... she hadn't even shown yet. The man shouldn't even know what was going on, he had his eyes covered. Nothing was making sense here.

Riku growled at her insult. He now stood back a good 30 feet from her. He knew if he send a lightning bolt powerful enough, her weapon would not be able to absorb the entirety of the electricity and it would harm her. When the thought entered his mind, the black lightning around him grew more wild, and began to branch off into the surrounding area, destroying a couple of the gym light fixtures on the ceiling and causing small explosions. His mouth returned to it's normal emotionless state."You are clueless girl. You come to this grand academy with no knowledge of the people who run the school. I'm surprised you made it so long here. Your not even worth my time." He stared at her, and he could see she didn't even know how he was able to see everything with his eyes completely covered.

The man started to crackle with more dangerous bolts. She dropped the head of her weapon to the ground. "You're calling me clueless? You keep assuming strange things about me! I've been here for a week! I've only been awake for a week! How long did you think I've been here? Why should I care about who runs this place if I don't even know who I am?!" Her eyes were glaring red. She didn't understand a single thing this man was doing. He made no sense whatsoever. He said everything so melodramatically, like he was in a fantastical book or movie. He made no sense. She was raising her voice. She didn't want to. She didn't feel so good. She was scared of him. She was feeling sick inside. She felt something pounding in her head. She wanted it to stop.
