The Transfer Student Arrives (Open)

A brand new school for a brand new day, Jojo had just gotten off the charter bus to get here from the airport and she wondered how this day will turn out. Duffel bag in one hand and her school bag draped over another shoulder she had already been curious about this place. “Are the dormitories furnished I wonder. If not I guess I will have to sleep on the floor until I can supply my own bed.” Light troubles like this funneled through her mind as she walked, her feet briskly carrying her across the courtyard as she went towards the main check in station. The school office as it was and she would only realize she had hardly seen anyone here.
 

Jojo’s clothing was average, long denim jeans and a blue blouse while her hair was assorted with a braid filled with feathers. A unique appearance as her golden eyes scanned the area. Tattoo along her forehead in its plain red shape she would be curious as to why her letter of acceptance came from a place as elegant as this. Her looking eyes scanned and she would merely sigh lightly when walking towards the school itself, already she dreaded the acceptance of coming here, she even missed going to her senior’s funeral if that didn’t supply her enough grief. Her mind was bogging down, she needed some cheering up desperately.

Demetrius walked through the courtyard, balancing his sketch book on his finger tips while looking around. Like always, he was scanning for something or somebody new to draw, it would only take a few seconds for him to memorize a persons clothes and facial features, and a few more to apply colors to it. His gaze fell on a new face, one he didn't see before, to be honest he was more attracted to her style as average as it was the feathers in her hair interested him a bit more than her face, as beautiful as it was. The artist slipped the pad under his arm and changed his direction towards hers, while mental buffering a good three seconds of speech in advance because he was talking to his second girl since he got here. "Excuse me, miss, could I interest you as being the model for a portrait?" He asked. Well you gotta give him credit, as less he said excuse me instead of just stopping her straight away and saying 'I need your beauty'
