The Artist grabbed his sketch pad before Jake grabbed him, grinning at him. Once they took off, he looked down at the world below, smirking. "Amazing View" he said as he adjusted his grip on Jake's arm. Yeah oddly enough Demetrius had no fear of the speed, or of the height. He was qiute the case, but if he fell, he'd possibly scream just out of true shock.

Jake chuckled slightly, he'd just basically kidnap the artist and the view was all he could think about. Well it wasn't quite the reaction he was hoping for but he'd take it. "It is isn't it? The view's always great from the air." They still had quite a bit of distance to cover before they reached their destination. "How do you want it? Quick or slow?" Jake asked, unnecessarily turning his head to scan the area, he took this course so often that he could remember it like the back of his hand.

"Want what?" He asked snapping his head up to look at him. He wasn't really listening because he was focused on the city below and the landscape. "the flight?" He prompted

Jake let a out a few laughs, he forgot how people enjoyed looking at the scenery while flying. "Yeah, do you want to fly quicker or keep it at this speed?" Jake asked. At the current speed they'd take another ten minutes to reach, he could increase his speed and reduce that time to four to six minutes but Jake didn't dare going any faster than that. Demetrius didn't have his hardened skin, he might get hurt from the winds.

"Whatever you want buddy" He said as he watched the view again. He was comfortable with the current speed. But if Jake went faster he'd have to adjust naturally to air travel of this form. Though he made his first glider at 14 , this didn't compare to it in terms of beauty.

Jake smirked at the answer, increasing his speed in a quick burst. "That brings me back to my question from just now. About whether you could make machines. Cause you could make an airplane and fly it and all if your powers allowed you to do so." Jake spoke, his voice considerably loud to overcome the wind that no doubt made hearing hard for Demetrius.

Demetrius thought it over before answering. "No without draining all of my energy, and possibly dying" He called over the wind. "I mostly make gliders for air travel and build motorcycles piece by piece for land travel, or walking." He said

They reached their destination, Jake realized with a grin, they quickly spiraled downward, Demetrius being held above Jake as his feet touched the dirt in the large clearing in the middle of the Perpetual Forest. "That would suck, being drained of all your energy. What's your limit anyway? Majority of my powers are passive and permanently active except for my fire. Those drain me differently depending on how much power I put into them."

"It's all up to the size of the thing i'm summoning, small stuff and medium stuff, i can do with ease, the larger stuff takes a bit more energy" Demetrius replied as he walked away from Jake by a few feet, reaching into his hoodie, taking some paper.

Jake nodded, his wings retracting into his back as he walked a few feet away from the artist. He took off his tie and white dress shirt, Demetrius would probably make weapons from ink, Jake didn't want to find out if they simply disappeared from existence or if they turned into ink. He threw the clothes onto a high and thick tree branch a considerable distance away, his jacket quickly following after them. Jake turned back to Demetrius. "Whenever you're ready." The half-dragon spoke.

Demetrius pulled out a sword from the paper, turning slightly, pointing the blade at him. "Bring it on mate" He said. He withdrew his hand from his pocket, resting it on his hilt as well. It was a two handed sword but he held it like it was a one handed. The blade was silver and reflected the sun light just slightly, the hilt was simple leather and bronze.

Jake stared as Demetrius pulled out a sword, it was large, most likely a two handed sword. The artist held it in one hand though, it shone silver and reflected the sunlight. "Not a bad drawing you got there Demetrius." Jake called out, digging his feet into the ground before kicking off the dirt in a quick burst. His speed was more or less equal to an Olympic sprinter, he could go faster rather easily but this was just the warm up. As he quickly came into Demetrius' range, he bent down and spun, stretching out a leg as he skidded past Demetrius' side. His leg was aimed for the artist's ankles.

Demetrius followed Jake with his eyes, watching him drop down, then jumped over the kick. Turning in into a forward flip, then put his palm to the ground as he steadied himself. He cocked the blade back and took a heavy swing with the flat of it. The air seemed to split around it, making it go faster than one would think.

Jake's eyes tracked Demetrius' movements with ease, he didn't move nearly as fast as Hunter or Mr A did. He hopped backwards using the leg which wasn't stretched out. Now safely out of range from the sword, Jake stood up and spat out a single fireball the size of a tennis ball, it was aimed at Demetrius' gut. The fireball was low powered and it traveled at only a moderately fast speed. The auburn haired teen didn't want this spar to end like his last one after all.

Demetrius flipped his sword towards the ground, blocking the fireball easily. The Artist started drawing something on the blade, reaching into it slightly. He shifted forward and dashed at Jake, pumping his legs at half their speed. He leap up and threw the blade, sharp edge first. The weight carrying it down towards the target.

Jake raised an eyebrow at the move, Demetrius had effectively disarmed himself, sure he could just grab another weapon from his sketch pad but that would take a few precious seconds which Jake could use to end the match. The half-dragon didn't want that though, so instead, he caught the blade. The sharp point was just a couple of inches away from scratching his skin when he caught the blade, his fingers gripped it by it's flat sides. "I hope you've got more than that Demetrius." Jake called out.

Demetrius held out something, a remote detonator. The picture of a block of C4 on the blade about 5 inches from Jake's finger materlized. " I'm full of tricks Jake" He replied as he pressed on the trigger. The block exploded in a hard forceful wave, not as lethal a frag but it worked like a flash bang.

Jake's eyes widened, he reacted quickly, flinging the blade forward in front of him while covering his face with his other arm, his eyes closing as he jumped backward. It wasn't enough to completely evade the blast, it wasn't lethal, not at all. Still, the force sent Jake flying back more than he had wanted when he jumped. He uncovered his face, a grin stretched his lips. "That's more like it!" Jake exclaimed, quickly spitting a small volley of seven flaming orbs the size of a tennis ball. Unlike before, they were traveling at a relatively fast speed, their power however, remained the same.

Demetrius rolled forward, dodging each one, then with drawing a crossbow from his hoodie. He fired three shots at Jake's torso, one was normal, the next two were flashing with blue light. These lights were actually frosted tips arrows, though it wouldn't do much physically, these also would explode on contact with anything. Those would feel a bit like a blizzard on bare skin and cause frost bite.

Jake narrowed his eyes, his enhanced sight easily caught the flashing blue light the moment they shot out of the crossbow. Taking a calming deep breath, Jake dashed forward to meet the arrows, he had to time this perfectly, he didn't want to know what would happen if they actually connected with him. With barely five feet remaining between him and the first bolt, Jake went down, his butt sliding over the grass as he extended both of his hands and caught the remaining two arrows by the back of their shafts just as they sailed past him. God he loved his enhanced speed and senses. The half-dragon hopped back onto his feet and smirked at Demetrius and dashed forward, this time at a speed beyond human capability. The distance between them closed quickly, within a mere three seconds there was only ten feet separating the two now. Jake flicked his wrists, sending the two arrows flying back at Demetrius, they were aimed at his knees.

Demetrius felt his jaw clench and he snapped his fingers, the arrows imploding into ink and the magic that would have destroyed his lower body, disappeared. He shot off two more bolts. "Nice Save those would have froze you up" He said as He launched a few yellow bolts, electric bolts, these were fully charged from tip to the flecthings.

The half-dragon had started back-peddling the moment the arrows imploded, apparently Demetrius had left out some details to his powers, there was now fifteen feet between him and the artist. Two yellow bolts were now flying at him, those probably held another element like the blue bolts did previously. The auburn haired teen simply jumped into the air and let the bolts fly past him harmlessly, as he descended, Jake shot another three fireballs at the artist. The were the same as the previous volley he sent, small and weak but relatively fast.

Demetrius cursed and leap backwards, then fired off a few more electric bolts, one nicked a tree top and a blast of lightning spider webbed from it, the point of entry was now a smoldering hole. The force knocked them to the side, making them drift slightly off course above Jake's head, making them connect and exploded afterward.

Jake's eyes widened momentarily before they narrowed, this was going a little too far. A few of those bolts to his torso would take him down, a single bolt to the head would take him down and just one would incapacitate him long enough for more bolts to hit him. Jake sprinted to the side, avoiding all the bolts while he mentally flipped the switch to unlock his seal. Red light shone from underneath his gloves, the outline of his seal appearing on them for a few seconds before they faded. Power flooded into him as Jake spun around, quickly gathered his energy and spat out three fireballs around Demetrius. This time they were the sizes of cannonballs, traveled at higher speeds than the bolts and exploded in a two meter radius on contact.

Demetrius bristled suddenly as he felt the heat surround him, the fireballs missed him once he dodged but it still burned his hoodie's sleeve, putting it out quickly. He closed his eyes, deciding to unlock the first level of his seal. His tattoo warmed and once he opened them again, his eyes were blue. He gripped a page and waved it forward, launching a volley of blades from the single picture.
